Meet Our Keynote Speakers

Lady Lola LeStrange

Lady Lola LeStrange is a member of the world famous Jigglewatts Burlesque Revue and Fat Bottom Cabaret, Texas’ premiere plus size cabaret troupe. She’s also a co-producer of The Midnight Menagerie, a queer people of color burlesque collective based in Austin. In 2017, she headlined the 2nd annual Texas Queerlesque Festival (Dallas). That year she also won the “Audience Choice” award (Friday Legends Night) at the 10th annual Texas Burlesque Festival and “2017 Evil Princess of Burlesque” (Texas Burlesque Peepshow).

 Since 2013, Lola has performed in shows and festivals within and beyond Texas including allgo Cabaret, San Antonio Burlesque Festival, Southern Fried Burlesque Festival, Jeezy’s Juke Joint, Monday Night Tease, Viva Dallas Burlesque and more. She presents kinetic classic stripteases, magnetic nerdlesque acts, and witty, ensnaring dreamscapes that keep her audiences clamoring for more. Lady Lola LeStrange is known as “The Rear and Pleasant Danger.”

Bitsy La Bourbon

Bitsy la Bourbon is a self-described “Performance Activist” – a performer using theatrical methods to activate discussion and positive progress in her community at large. Utilizing various kinds of performative mediums, including Neo-Burlesque, Modern Dance, Immersive Theatre and Queer pornography, Bitsy strives to electrify the the minds of anyone willing to recharge their social justice hard-drive.

In 2013 she established More Than “No,” a consent-centered non-profit, now fiscally sponsored by the Effing Foundation for Sex-Positivity. Quickly after she created “Cabaret Con-Sensual”, a live, monthly show where survivors of sexual assault and their allies can explore their frustrations and healing through performance in a fun, sex-positive, supportive atmosphere. This cabaret is also the focus of a recent short documentary called “Will Strip for Change” by Travis Mauck.

Bitsy holds a BA in Theatre from UCLA and performs regularly in Los Angeles, including Cabaret Con-Sensual, which you can see every month at The Three Clubs in Hollywood.
